Elliot's Birthday Party

Saturday was Elliot's birthday party. We were lucky enough to get Justin's family to all drive over from Spokane for the afternoon. And we were even more lucky to have the sun out so we could walk down to the park to play for a few while the hamburgers were cooking.

From the left: Brooks (6), Kolby (4), Faith (4), Elliot (4), and Ryan (3)

Faith and Elliot were born less than a day apart.
Even a big person likes a swing once in a while:

We had a princess theme party, which of course, needed a Castle Cake:

(and it was pretty darn tasty to boot)

A highlight of the day was getting a Ken doll, finally. We had lots of Barbies, but no Ken! Ryan even wanted in on the action of playing!

Unfortunately, Justin was sick with the stomach flu Thursday night, all day Friday and into Saturday (actually he still isn't feeling well). He was a trooper though Saturday with helping get the house the rest of the way ready and BBQing hamburgers for us. He stuck it out even with all the commotion of all the little kids. Thank you so much!!! We love you!!!
These last couple of pictures are of her birthday when she was opening her presents from mom and dad, Grandma Jill, and Grandma Dolma. It is always fun to get something in the mail, especially on your birthday!

Syd got that same Ken for her birthday! I am excited for the two of them to get to see each other when you are here for your marathon! Great job on the cake too.

I love her big cheesey smile! I made that same cake for Macy's b-day a couple of years ago. Way to go!
