Justin and I decided to have the majority of our backyard turned into a garden. With food prices on the rise along with everything else, we thought it would be a good thing to produce some of our own food as well as give Justin something to work on that he enjoys. It has been a learning process, but he has enjoyed seeing the fruits of his labor. Elliot (and her cousins Ryan and Kolby) as you see in the picture enjoy going and help Justin, especially digging up the potatoes. Our meals are including an awful lot of potatoes these days and the corn will be coming very soon too. We will have plenty of squash and hopefully a pumpkin or two later this fall. Now that Justin has done this once, we are hoping that next summer will be even more plentiful!

Very impressive on the garden! I can't wait to get corn from my Dad's field. It is so good homegrown.
